Seeking business sponsors to be part of this community project
Businesses large and small are helping this community project, run by volunteers, by giving grants and sponsorships. Please give generously knowing that every dollar donated goes towards the rebuild (we have no paid staff and almost no overheads).
Once rebuilt, the jetty will be well-used by people from all over Christchurch and beyond. For more information, see Purposes and Your Jetty Stories.
For businesses and organisations that would like to be recognised on the new jetty when it is rebuilt, there are several options:
Sponsor a bench (with a plaque) for $10,000 (20 only)
Sponsor a ramp (with a “Sponsored by …” sign) for $50,000 (two only)
Sponsor the landward platform (with an information sign) for $100,000
Sponsor the seaward platform (with an information sign) for $150,000
Sponsor the pontoon - we will have a floating pontoon off the seaward end of the jetty, attached by a ramp. We are interested in talking to companies who could provide the pontoon and have their name on it.
